MENTORING FOR ARTISTS

I dance barefoot on the impeccable and soft grey linoleum of Botànic Espai de Dansa. I train in slippers on the wonderful and slippery floor of La Pina Submarina (Dance and Theater Space). I move and write on the black tatamis with which I cover the cold tiles of the living room of my house on Ángel Guimerá Avenue (Valencia).

I train forty-five minutes four times a week at home. I warm up. I do three laps of a six-station intermittent explosive circuit where I push myself for ten seconds and rest for fifteen. I do three laps of another circuit, this time eccentric, of seven stations, six training and one writing. I like to train with a stopwatch, the countdown and the bell help me to be more attentive.

After training I make myself a super plate of scrambled eggs with peas, toast and some cheese and tea. The pleasure of that nutritious breakfast has no name.

One of my most enjoyable times of the day is napping with my cats in the hammock.

I have the pleasure of working and collaborating with Arantxa Blasco, Paula Pachón, Noelia Sánchez, Sara Espinar, Julia Irango, Doriana Rossi, Camelia Córdoba, Ángels Pérez Núñez, Cármen Gimeno Casas, Maena Serrano Pons, Carlos Zárate Jiménez, Sofía Delgado, Josefina Zuain, María Paz Garaloces, Julia Zac, Sofía Asencio, Paula Miralles, Ernesto Pastor, Amparo Ferrer Torregrosa, Marie Bardet, val flores, María Laudes, Paula Romero, María Tamarit, Francesc Romeu Ferrer, etc.

Dancing is the way to remind me day by day that there is not only one way to do things.

I would like every time we meet to be like the first time and to smell like jasmine. Thank you for taking the time.
